Design Your Own Ring

Design Your Own Diamond Ring, Engagement Ring, or Wedding Band

We offer a custom design service whereby you can work with our Head Designer Alice Herald to design an entirely unique diamond ring, engagement ring, or wedding band. There is a small design fee ($225), but otherwise the cost of the ring will be similar to an equivalent ring in one of our collections.

Alice Herald - BA Hons - Jewellery Design

Alice Herald is our head designer. She studied jewellery design at the prestigious Central St Martin's College in London. Still whilst at college Alice launched her first collection of rings which Alexander McQueen chose to have on his models at London's Fashion Week show. She also did collaborations with Goldsmiths, De Beers and Cartier. From there on she worked for a number of prestigious jewellers including Benney's (the silversmith to H.M. The Queen). Alice currently lives and works in New Zealand, and travels extensively.

Commissioning a Unique Ring

There is a $225 fee to have a ring designed for you in consultation with Alice Herald. Alice will ask questions about you or your partner's fashion, lifestyle, personalty, occupation, etc, and then prepare some sketches. Of course if you already have a specific design in mind she can work on that idea. Typically Custom Designs start from $5,000.

Typically 2-3 options will be sketched, and one of those, depending on your feedback will be developed into a photo-realistic picture so that you can make a final decision before purchasing. The ring will typically cost the same as a similar ring from our range.
