Alice's career started at Central Saint Martin's College of Art and Design in London, UK, with a BA Honours Degree in Jewellery Design. One of the great places in the world to study jewellery, her education provided fantastic opportunities to collaborate with top designers and prestigious companies such as Goldsmiths, De Beers and Cartier.
Alice's talent for design and the business of jewellery saw her spend three years working for Benney, Goldsmiths and Silversmiths to the Queen, interacting and design consulting with clients, managing the Knightsbridge showroom and working alongside trades people within the industry to deliver top quality jewellery to clients.
Alice spent a 2007-2008 season in France, then the winter with her fiancée, Jon Mactaggart of Victoria, Australia, over in New Zealand, launching the new 1791 New Zealand company, and is now heading back to Sydney for the launch of her new Signature and Modena diamond engagement ring collections here.
One of Alice's other loves in life is helping with disabled snow sports. Her winter in New Zealand helped her pursue that, whilst gaining inspiration from the glistening crystal clear lakes and snow capped mountains.
