As I began to delve into the multiple layers of well packaged merchandise I started to feel like I was playing "pass the parcel" at a birthday party!
First the plastic envelope... RIP
Then another layer of plastic wrap... RIP
Then a few layers of bubble-wrap... tossed over my head
Then a big dark blue 1791 box (delicately saved for re-packing purposes)
Then a smaller dark blue 1791 box (again saved for re-packing)
Then a small ring box... which refused to open until I realized it had a tiny (maybe child resistant) lock..
Followed by the Mother Lode! WOW!
Thank you for such a nice piece of art. one that she will never see in a Michael Hill store!

Wow! Thank you Alice- the ring is amazing!! My partner just gave it to me this evening and I love it. The middle diamond is an incredible cut and very clever of you to find two matching pear shaped ones too. And also of course to get it here in time for tomorrow - quite a feat I hear. Do please pass on a big thank you to everyone involved. Katie

This multistone diamond engagement ring design showcases the fabulous sparkle of the princess cut. It features a gorgeous princess cut diamond for the centre stone as well as princess cut diamonds channel set into the ring's band for added brilliance.
The princess cut diamond is a popular choice for diamond engagement rings. The cut was designed specifically to maximise the diamonds' brilliance and this is used to maximum effect in this design by 1791 Diamonds' Head Designer, Alice Herald. The square cut of the princess diamond allows the side stones to be set side by side with little or no gap, creating the impression of a glittering ribbon laid along the ring's band.
As well as fabulous sparkle, there are other advantages to choosing a princess cut for a diamond engagement ring. Inclusions (flaws) are less visible with this cut, and any slight yellowish colour is less noticeable than with other cuts. What this means is that you can buy beautiful looking diamonds at more reasonable prices. That said, 1791 Diamonds only use high quality diamonds in their rings so quality will never be compromised.
The name "Princess" evokes images from fairy tales and, true to its name, The Princess Multistone is simply enchanting
