My fiance put a great deal of effort into finding the 'perfect' engagement ring for me and it was clear to him that it should be handmade. When he approached staff at 1791Diamonds, he had very clear ideas of what he wanted and how the ring should look in the end. From the first moment onwards, he was provided with committed, patient and timely customer service. He could discuss his design requests via email and telephone at any moment throughout the entire process. His ideas were completely respected and he was supported with professional advice through every step. The friendliness and enthusiasm of the 1791Diamonds staff were very comforting along the way, especially because the quest for the 'one and only' engagement ring can be quite stressful.

After our engagement, a further plus was the free resizing of the ring which was very easy for us and done within less than a week. It was a great advantage to have somebody we could trust with this because they knew the ring like no one else.

We are extremely happy with the ring and the service we received. In the end, I really got the 'perfect' ring thanks to 1791Diamonds and their fabulous staff. When it's time for wedding rings, we definitely know where to go!

My experience with 1791 was perfect. I found the whole website easy to use and love the fact you can pick and choose what ring you like and what diamond as well. Emerald cut diamonds are very distinctive with their long, elegant lines. These are step-cut diamonds meaning that they have many large open facets, which act like mirrors and throw dramatic prisms of light. However, these large open facets do highlight the clarity of the diamond so it's important to choose a good quality stone.

1791 Diamonds adhere to strict policies with regard to diamond quality meaning that they only use the very top quality grades for diamond cut and colour and in terms of diamond clarity they always use SI or better to ensure that no blemishes can easily be seen without a magnifying glass or jeweller's loupe.
