U.K. Visit Inspires 1791 Designer Alice Herald
1791 diamonds looks set have a newly inspired range coming out soon following a recent visit to the U.K by their jewellery designer, Alice Herald.
Alice, a graduate of one of the world’s most well known design colleges, Central St Martin’s in London, visited a number of fashion outlets and jewellery design workshops.
She was inspired by the raw forms and traditions of ancient love rings, often reflecting many of the Celtic traditions and values of earlier societies.
She also enjoyed the energy of some the newer design concepts such as ‘fiction’ recently made prominent by performer Lady Gaga.
Now back in New Zealand to enjoy some quality time with her husband and young daughter, Alice has cleared the drafting table and drawing up her latest range of rings.
The new designs follow the very successful Signature and Modena ranges of Engagement Rings by 1791 diamonds.
With the southern hemisphere winter already starting, Alice will also be continuing her work as a volunteer for the Disabled Snowsports association based near her home in Lake Hawea.
